J. Brad Kallmyer, MD
J. Brad Kallmyer, was born and raised in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He studied chemistry at Earlham College and graduated in 1984. He obtained his MD from Indiana University School of Medicine in 1988. He is Board Certified in Family Medicine and is a fellow in the American Academy of Family Practice.
While still working in as a physician, Dr. Kallmyer attended Indiana University of Law -Indianapolis, where he served as Note Editor for the Indiana Health Law Review. He graduated cum laude in 2005 with a concentration in health law. Dr. Kallmyer published a note concerning standard of care for physicians practicing complementary and alternative medicine in the Indiana Health Law Review.
Dr. Kallmyer was admitted to the bar in 2005, to the U.S. District Court for the Southern District Indiana in 2007 and the Northern District in 2008. He is a member of the Indianapolis Bar Association, the Indiana State Bar Association and the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association.
Dr. Kallmyer worked closely with Montross Miller as a consultant prior to joining the firm as an associate in 2007. His practice includes all categories of civil litigation involving medical malpractice, personal injury and wrongful death.
Brad and his wife Penny spend their free time involved in the school and sports activities of their two children. He is also an avid bicyclist and woodworker.
